Cristina Vulpe (DVM, PhD) is a licensed veterinarian with more than a decade of experience working with animals and writing about animal care. She is passionate about animal welfare, canine pathology, infectious diseases, and veterinary legal medicine.

Cristina graduated from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Iasi, Romania in 2011. She earned her PhD in canine oncology from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. In 2021, she also earned a B.A. in History from UAIC, Iasi, Romania.
